At first, these ropes might appear like your average magic rope. But, looks can be deceiving. The quality of these ropes is nothing short of outstanding.
Admittedly, this rope can't do anything that can't be done with your ordinary magic rope. But comparing them with others is like comparing broomsticks and flying carpets; there's a world of difference.
BTC rope has been sold since 2007, and it's the preferred brand of prominent magicians like Mac King and Michael Finney. In the early days, it was only sold by Baronian Trading Company. Today, it can be found on the shelves of renowned magic dealers like Alakazam, Murphy's, Penguin, and Vanishing Inc., and now, for the first time, it's also available from within the EU.
BTC1
8 mm. rope with a 16-stand braided cotton mantle and parallel cotton core. The core ensures a consistent round shape that looks nice. The rope is neither bleached nor colored, so the color is natural.
Ropes with a core tend to be stiff. But that is not the case with BTC1. It looks and feels good, and despite having a core, it's as flexible as a seasoned yoga instructor.
BTC2
With it's bright white color this rope is perfect for parlour magic and stage shows. It's has a 24-stand braided polyester mantle with a core of parallel cotton threads. Like the BTC1, it is both soft and flexible despite the a core
BTC3
This is my favorite, it's the rope that made me fall in love with BTC. It's a 16-strand braided rope; nothing special about that. But, unlike any other rope I've seen, it's 100% viscose, has a silky look and is as soft as fur of a kitten. The color is white, and it's ultra-flexible.
No matter wheter you're just entering the world of rope magic or an experienced professional. BTC ropes are suitable for classic effects like The Professor's Nightmare and more advanced routines like those found on Richard Sanders' DVD Fiber Optics or The Award-Winning Rope Magic of Tabary.
As a final note, I want to say that words could never do these ropes justice; you'll have to touch and work with them to fully understand the difference, so don't take my word for it; try it out, I'm sure you'll agree; it's worth every cent.
